Very solid controller for cost-effective, toy-to-hobby conversions (we all do). ;-) Have not tested the max range, not planning on it as it is used for WPL/MN/Fayee crawler type trucks. Everything works, nothing squeaks. Very nice polished metal look to the trim and dual rate knobs. Slightly higher build quality than the cheap Flysky transmitters.

Whoah, this little truck is cool. Almost identical to my Associated Enduro24, aside from the motor placement. Better build quality, kinda weak servo, and noisier motor/transmission than the Enduro24. Also, it has beadlock wheels/tires (bolts on the inside of the wheel). Great little addition to the family fleet of indoor crawlers. Very happy and recommended to meet your 1/24 scale budget crawler needs.

A fun toy based on popular hobby-grade designs. Will work well for children to play alongside dad's hobby-grade crawlers. The motor is very weak, and resonates through the Jeep body making it slightly loud, though it is enough to make it up mild grades/inclines. The steering servo is also very weak, and cannot reach the steering limits when stationary on flat ground though it has not problems with steering when rolling. It has some crawling ability, but mostly general purpose fun RC car ability. Build quality is substantially higher than others, including any RTR from WPL. The size is perfect for indoor and light-duty outdoor play.

Whoah, it's cool. Non-proportional steering, and steering makes a horrid whine, but other than that it's a cool D90 budget crawler. Nice painted plastic. Nice comically bad decals with intentional misspellings. Very supple WPL style friction shocks. My son loves it and can't wait to take it into the snow. Comes with wheels/tired and crawler tracks. The FPV camera and app are surprisingly fun to use, can be used to control the car too. Good purchase on sale. I have safely used a 2s Li Ion in place of the NiCad that it comes with and see a little jump in performance as a result.

awesome Lego kit, cool app and controls and programming. tires are not sticky enough, may try to clean/degrease them for reliable actions. also note you get one set of electronics, 3 Lego droids.

The most detailed WPL. GREAT model. Order metal driveshafts - the plastic units are not strong enough for its weight. the rear suspension “see-saw” is a work of art and effective. LOVE this model!

the least detailed and complex of the WPL lineup. still great fun and detailed enough to play around with paints and weathering. the leaf suspension requires “tuning” to make it anything functional.

Q: why did the rear axel snap in half when i took it out of the box?

mortimersmythe Therear axle housing is plastic, upper and lower halves are secured in the center with screws holding the differential cover. Either snap the ends back together and do not worry about it or upgrade to metal housings - you will see a big jump in capability with the aded weight.

This URUAV/HobbyPlus 1/24 crawler is very similar to the Associate Enduro24 - pics showing both chassis. Has bead-locked wheels, very soft tires, is correctly sprung (i.e. good articulation), has metal frame rails, center mounted motor and trans, excellent build quality, headlights and tail lights (always on), includes two 1s lipos, includes a good transmitter, is labeled as waterproof, has decent low speed modulation, top speed of a slow walk, and power to climb. In summary, there is not much not to like about this mini crawler and it will be a great addition to the rainy-day, indoor fleet. Easily a five star purchase.

I am addicted. These WPL RC trucks are detailed and the body pieces are high quality. They are not hobby grade crawlers, but they look so good are are great fun to mod including the electronics, mechanical components and to paint and weather. The C34 and C44 are slightly higher quality suspension than the C24 / c14 with brass ball joint suspension links. Love it!

:-( The car would not move forwards or backwards on two separate batteries, straight from the box. Much fiddling later, I decided to open the transmitter and found the throttle was unplugged. Very poor quality control. The car has a QC sticker on it, indicating it went through some checks, but the transmitter does not have same sticker. Frustrating way to spend an afternoon with excited children wanting to play. See unplugged throttle on transmitter interior in photos... Will contact Banggood to learn if there is some compensation for receiving faulty items. Once I repaired the transmitter, the car is great fun, really great fun. Super durable. I have outfitted it with the oil dampened shocks. Speed control is a must-have feature with younger drivers, it works very well. The ESC brake is very strange, it always engages on applying reverse. I.e. you cannot go from standstill straight to reverse, but reversing requires a "double tap" to engage. This is unlike other cars I have which allow braking straight from forward throttle only. Small quip.

Must have items to substantially increase your truck/truggie fun. Planted on jumps from perfect dampening. No leaks. Perfect replacements on SG 1601. Bonus: Original friction shocks may fit on my other WPL or MN models, and are of good quality, adjustable preload, same spring size as MN shocks.

mortimersmythe 1811712 You might be able to swap in one of the standard WPL gearboxes also. These are geared way too high IMHO.

mortimersmythe Thisis a kit. If you are comfortable with kits it only takes 1-2 hours to complete. You will need Radio, ESC and Battery to get rolling. This is the most detailed model that WPL makes, highly recommended if you like the scale modeling side of this hobby.
