Q: why did the rear axel snap in half when i took it out of the box?

mortimersmythe Therear axle housing is plastic, upper and lower halves are secured in the center with screws holding the differential cover. Either snap the ends back together and do not worry about it or upgrade to metal housings - you will see a big jump in capability with the aded weight.

mortimersmythe 1811712 You might be able to swap in one of the standard WPL gearboxes also. These are geared way too high IMHO.

mortimersmythe Thisis a kit. If you are comfortable with kits it only takes 1-2 hours to complete. You will need Radio, ESC and Battery to get rolling. This is the most detailed model that WPL makes, highly recommended if you like the scale modeling side of this hobby.
