I ordered three of these kits. All three went together without issue and perform as expected. I purchased these with the intention of building a laser etch-a-sketch controller - for a bit of fun. Each motor will eventually have a small mirror attached to the end and, once positioned in a zig-zag configuration, a laser will bounce from one mirror to the next. By changing the speeds of each motor, you can draw different patterns on the wall or roof. These controllers were perfect for my project.
