Q: Is there a plan to release different colors like white?

Asked by mnipjy on 2019-08-05 04:52:17

QuadCrazy777 You can get original tinyhawk (tinyhawk 1) frames either in black, white or red as far as I know. They are a weaker design of frame compared to the tinyhawk s frame which I have only ever seen in black. Tinyhawk 2 is back to a white frame.

mnipjy It should work being only connected to the esc without motor-side connection.

Q: It does not have a built-in PDB

Asked by HSPalm on 2018-03-13 09:24:50

mnipjy I'm pretty sure you're right. It apparently has no power distributing function as there's no pads for direct connection with any of battery or ESC's. I assume the correct term from the supplier's intention must be built-in OSD, not PDB here.

mnipjy When it comes to linear antenna, RX and VTX uses the same ones having the same material and the same length (usually). You might say that it's supposed to be longer and having the "shield" part. but when the frame is not a conductive material like carbon, the antenna doesn't have to be apart from the frame, which means it does not need the shield part. If you wanna change it to other type of antenna like clover-leaf or stubby to get better video quality, you can simply replace it, but you should keep in mind that they are much heavier than the simple linear antenna and I don't think the quality improvement would be noticeable enough to compensate the additional weight. Besides those kind of antennas should be grounded which means the replacement is not gonna be easy at all.

mnipjy I assume this is almost identical to that of BetaFPV except for Buzzer pads. And according to BF website, the upgraded board can support more receivers like Frsky r9m or DSMX (maybe without shorting pads), and I'm pretty sure upgraded GEPRC FC should be the same. It makes sense because if you look at the board picture, there's a new additional pad next to the "RC" pad, which is 3.3v (probably for DSMX), and also another new pad named "F.P" instead of original 2 small pads for DSMX. I don't think there are more changes other than these.
