ArizonaJones You can get it to turn on in Turbo mode by using the memory feature.

This is not some run of the mill "[INSERT NAME HERE] Fire" flashlight. Trust me I have 20 of those. This thing has excellent spread and throw to compete with models from name brands costing 2x as much. Build quality is professional level. Wish it didnt have so many modes. (7 or 4 different levels and 4 different strobe modes). I would prefer to be able to have it automatically default to turbo or high mode every time I turn it on though. It defaults to the lowest setting(or whatever the last setting was if you enable memory mode) which I find annoying when you just need to click on a super bright light right away. Everything else about this flashlight makes a a real bargain especially when on sale for ~$18 USD.

Are you kidding? Only 20 bucks? I just bought my second one of these. I inspect homes for a living and use flashlights every day, and this is a great flashlight. And the sale price is amazing for the quality you get. I love the smaller configuration with the clip reversed. I can attach it to the bill of a baseball cap and use it hands free when I go in attics and crawl spaces. Super bright and nice consistent beam pattern.

I saw the price and had my doubts about how good this could be. But I read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I am a home inspector and use flashlights every day for by work. So I am a little picky. This flashlight was a great surprise. Not only is it small and light but it is very bright, and has so many options for brightness. The throw pattern is also good and focused not not too focused all in one spot (even beam with no hot spot in the middle) but still throws (not a complete flood). I also was able to reverse the clip and use it on the bill of a baseball cap and use it hands free when going in attics and crawl spaces. I liked it so much I have ordered a second one. This flashlight would still be a good buy at twice the price.
