Q: what is the meaning of propotional stearing

DevanGreen In cheap rc cars, when you turn left or right, the tire moves from pointing straight to directly angled at the maximum turn angle (I.e. from 0 to 45 degrees instantly). This means you effectively have 3 directions. Forward, full left and full right. However, with proportional steering, the tires move incrementally as you turn the remote steering wheel. If you turn a little, the wheels turn a little. If you crank it, the wheels will go all the way in that direction, and you can turn it to any position (I.e. any angle between 0 and 45). This provides much better control and steering. The car wheels turn “proportionate” to how you turn the remote wheel.
