Bravo10 It appears that this instrument only measures current via the clamp. However you can read low currents by the folowing method: If you wind one loop around the clamp, you you will get double the reading, so if you need to to read small curents, you could wind several turns around the clamp & divide the reading by the number of turns around the clamp. That is how these instruments are calibrated on a Fluke calibrator. Using a jig that has 100 turns on it. So only 1 Amp into the jig coil will show 100A on the clamp meter.
