Q: does this product require SMD soldering?

typo368 not really smd soldering,if you can solder the rest of the board,then the ic will be fine :)

looks great when on :)love it....only prob is the screen cracked in transit :( ,,,refer to photo,,can probaly get a new piece made up :)
