This charger works well but it is specified to work with inputs of 12-16volts but anything above 14 volts and the overvoltage kicks in and the Mavic battery does not charge. I use 12 to 13.1 volts input and it seems to work OK within that range.

this is ideal for stepping up from 12V to higher voltages for drone chargers when charging from a car battery. First one arrived faulty but Bangood replaced the item and the second one works fine. It has a very fine/accurate adjustment on the voltage output but need a very small screwdriver to set it.

use these on all my pixhawk and APM drones - good value telemetry solution avoids windows 10 problems associated with bluetooth modules and much bigger range when you need in flight stats

quadrob They are smart batteries which are designed to self discharge after a set time. Never leave LiPos fully charged it will damage them. each week left on full charge loses 3.7 charge cycles from the lifetime of the battery. Phone batteries are not the same chemistry.

As I experienced the self discharge rate is high at these batteries compared to a phone battery. After fully charged but not used for two weeks the 1/3rd of the charge has gone. I am curious if charge balancing is integrated into the battery or completely missing.
