some trimming may be required in the 3D printed parts to get a correct fit. and a construction diagram would be helpful. Apart from that everything seems to be ok with the kit.

so far this tx has bound to every rx and bnf aircraft I have in my hanger. quality of switches gimbles and pots are better than I expected from another low priced radio. very happy with this purchase, think I will buy another one as a spare for the future.

internal diameter of these tips is a bit bigger than the 4mm required for my soldering station. I don't like the idea of my heating element trying to heat up an air gap inside the tip before heating the tip. seems a bit inefficient to me. will use them eventually but will also source tips that are a better fit on my iron.

had to buy unit with EU plug to get 220/240v version. Easy change to AU plug, unit starts up as expected, heats up very quickly. Soldering iron didn't seem to want to melt 0.8mm solder until temp was up to about 350degC with supplied tip. New tip types are on the way and this unit will be perfect for my hobby requirements, longevity is unknown but hopefully I get years of service from it.
