Q: Can you change the battery? Lipos eventually die, so I want to know if I can just put in a new battery when that happens.

Pretty good cheapo case. Its cheap, but thats what I wanted and it has the important bits that I care about. You can pop the lid off to easily access pins and the camera connectors, it protects the board from shorting on metal things I place it on, it has all the holes for all the connectors, and its transparent so I can see the power leds at a glance. Best case for the cheap price, which is what I wanted. Dead simple to put together too. This isnt a complaint because its so cheap, but more an observation, which is that the rpi mounts using self tapping plastic screws which means you cant take it out and put it back in very many times before it wears out. Doesn't really matter because how often do you do that, especially in this case where everything is accessible, but thought id mention it.

This is fantastic value. Now Im brand new to the world of lipos and charging them, but this thing just does it all for not much money at all. I can use it as a bench power supply, battery voltage checker, tester, smoke stopper. Im just amazed at how many features are stuffed into this little device On top of all that, It seems like they've built in every possible safety to stop you bfrom blowing up your batteries or the device. Its more than I could want and I have almost no complaints about it. If I had one complaint, it would be the fan on the back which seems to sometimes scrape against the plastic which seems like it might be an issue in the future but other than that its great. For a tip for someone new looking for a battery charger and confused about this one due to its lack of a mains plug, you can use a barrel to xt60 adapter and plug it into almost any old laptop charger to use that as a power supply.

This camera seems more than dandy for the price. Its hard to fault something that's 10 bucks when it does everything as advertised, not well mind you, as its 10 bucks, but basically, you'll get what you're expecting. Video quality is not great, and its very grainy Audio quality is actually surprisingly just fine. You can hear voices well enough to identify whats being said. Battery life Im unsure of. Im assuming it depends on how long you've used it, but from my experience so far its not very long at all, at around an hour?! Though I haven't done any extensive testing and this is just based on using it for the first time for around an hour till it died Notes: - It seems, while the instructions say hold for 3 seconds for motion detection, the time required is actually a lot shorter. I imagine others might have problems with this as well so I want to make that clear. - Motion detection doesn't work very well, so expect a lot of files. - I had to press the reset button after unboxing it and charging it to get it to function at all, so if yours isn't working, try that first.
