Shark@BG393542221 Hi, it's a modified FTX BANZAI drift car. Main chassis had to be cut to fit the bigger motor, pinion and spur gears both replaced, this also meant there was no more room for the ESC to fit in the original location, so I had to mount it where the original battery went. In order to fit x 2 batteries I used another main chassis and cut the front and back off it to hold the batteries on top.

Shark Unless the design has now changed, I believe the answer given by the seller is incorrect. The motor shipped with my order has 5mm shaft, as you say 1-8 scale motors usually have this size and you're right, it's 5mm.

Q: on a 2s lipo battery, do you recommend a 50c or a 80c ?

Shark Started with 35c (constant) - 65c (burst) 2s overlander battery. Now running 120c 2s Zeee power premium battery without any issues. Noticeable improvement on the 120c.

Shark No, the ESC default settings are as follows - Low voltage cut-off: 3.1V Acceleration mode (punch): medium Max brake force (25A, 45A, 60A ESC's): 50% Max reverse force: 25% Neutral range: narrow 9% All quite sensible settings, with no real need to adjust.

Shark The default value is 3.1V. Adjustable to 2.9V, 2.7V or 0V if you purchase the additional programme card.
