Q: what is best for freestyle and what is best for long range?

Asked by Bolantoy on 2021-01-07 06:35:01

Mbrownson This motor would be for big 7” setups. If you want a freestyle rig, go with a 5” drone and 2208-2307 size motor. Preferably over 2000+kv

Mbrownson Go with 1300kv for 6s. The 1500kv will get super hot and burn right out on the first crash.

Q: How much Amp esc does the 1300kv need?

Asked by mrTeamax on 2021-06-14 11:13:15

Mbrownson I also use 50A 4in1. I added 35v caps to the power lead and the esc . You kinda need to protect the motors from voltage spikes. Crashing or bouncing off objects.

Q: Can this work with 35Amp ESC well?

Asked by BG353952221 on 2021-08-08 02:57:30

Mbrownson If your going to use 6s. I recommend adding some 35v caps. One on the 4in1 and 1 on the power lead just to help from voltage spikes that will burn your motor out. Been there with these motors.

Q: IS IT SUITABLE FOR 775 DC MOTOR

Asked by emreoz14 on 2020-12-22 12:51:14

Mbrownson No. You’ll need a 10-12 inch dc motor propellar. You may need a mount as well. There are combo kits available. You’ll have to do a google search for 775 dc motor propellar. See what comes up

Q: what is this??

Asked by Mullcom on 2020-10-06 13:34:53

Mbrownson Its foam face plate that is cushion instead of the rubber face plate. I recommend 3d printing a shim for light leaks with this foam face plate.
