cyclone Yes, you can switch the modes. You need to press one of the buttons when you turn on the transmitter. See instruction manual.

Q: what are mounting hole pattern dimensions

cyclone Mounting hole pattern is triangle with the side of about 21 mm. Mounting holes are about 3 mm diameter (M3 screw fits it perfectly).

Q: So, compared to the Jumper T8SG V2.0 Plus Carbon, it has USB-C. Any other improvements?

cyclone USB-C connector means they used newer microcontroller. If so, it should be faster and probably has more memory (ROM, RAM) and probably slightly lower power consumption - longer battery life. It looks like copy of Carbon version rumored with carry case absence (that's why lower price). Revived successful small radio with DeviationTX firmware (as jumper.xyz lastly has switched to OpenTX).

cyclone K0805-144 version comes with RX144 - DSMX-DSM2 receiver (not available at the moment, I believe).
