Star_Munchkin the reciever will not recieve the full 11.1V from your battery, only what the BEC in your ESC supplies, so the reciever will work fine. I have bought this exactly for a brushless upgrade to the 144001, I'll stay at 2S though. FYI: If you want to go brushless on a 144001, then pay attention to the size of the ESC.

Q: does it fit in wltoy 144001

Asked by christopro on 2020-03-30 11:23:18

Star_Munchkin The Motor is an easy fit, it is approx 10mm shorter than the motor the 144001 comes with. As for the ESC the real question is HOW does it fit. The ESC is 3-4mm too long to fit into the lowered section of the top deck. I have purchased this kit exactly for the 144001, so once I figure out exactly how to fit this ESC AND a 2600mah or 2800mah 2S battery, I'll try and remember to comment here. IF you do NOT plan on running longer than stock batteries I do believe that the ESC could be fitted in front of the battery, but that will not be an option for me.

Q: This servo fit on a wltoys 144001?

Asked by maurosantos on 2020-04-27 00:08:56

Star_Munchkin short answer is no, it is about 7 mm too long. Long answer is "maybe", but you would need to replace the motor with a standard 540 motor, fabricate new mounts and drill the chassis for said mounts...
