  • spikey1973_3 wrong order of the components (why add the chip while still soldering also you need to test without chip!) RTFM! also don't bend pins! and dont snap of to close to the solder joint as it can crack and leave your device prone to errors in the future. The best way (not the easiest) is to put the component in (little elevated, snap of the wires and solder it. This also makes live a lot easier when components fail in the future and you want to replace them. If using lead solder, make sure the solder joint is shiny afterwards!!. if silver solder this won't need to be the case!

  • tom_pin Do not use ZIF socket, if you want to use plastic box - you save your work at its subsequent removal.

  • tom_pin He chose the wrong order for components installation on a PCB. In the manual is very well documented installation procedure. Isolation display is unnecessary, because the distance between the display and components on the PCB is more than sufficient.
