Very nice looking plane. Build was very quick/easy. Needed tiny amount of reflex. Control linkages are great. Pint is nice. plane feels a tad wobbly even with carbon supports. First flight was ok. Loves calm weather. 10mph wind tho, flexes the air frame so much it makes flying in wind almost impossible. the flex takes away almost all control input making turning or climbing very sketchy. Manufacturer could easily fix this by increasing the size of the carbon or using rods instead of the flat pieces they give you. Hopefully adding a flat piece of balsa on the bottom will fix this issue. I'd recommend buying this as it's cheap and flys great in calm weather. Just be aware of the frame flex issue.

  • apoormarksman This may help. Cover the lower wing surface with clear 50mm parcel tape after the rods have been stuck in. Start at back, giving the next strips a 5mm overlap and wrap the leading edge. Cut away tape at ailerons and where stiffeners are to be glued, do not cut/damage wing. Glue the stiffeners, then tape the top surfaces and finally wrap leading edge (so,m that wind does not pick it up). Tape is very light and very rigid. Combat planes use at least one strip of glass fibre reinforced tape but you will only be able to use gf tape on top surface because lower wing has those stiffeners.
