It works very well cutting the output from a small solar panel when the light becomes too low. The panel drives a 12V DC pump on a hydroponics system, and tend to burn out when the panel do not supply enough power to keep it running. The pump stall and fail on too low voltage. This little unit solved that problem till a better plan can be made.
