The light output is very good. I wish it could be dimmed as it's a bit on the high side. There are several modes; static white, static red, fast blinking red, red SOS(?) and alternating red/white strobe. The last one is useless as you shouldn't use white light at the rear of the bike. Missing white blinking. Waterproofing is questionable at best, wouldn't use it in rain
