Works well out of the box and comes with one of the latest OpenTX versions installed. The menu button placement is more intuitive than T18, having both page up and page down buttons instead of just one. The hall sensor gimbals feel smooth and well worth the investment. The foam case it comes in looks durable, although perhaps too big for daily carrying. The multi-protocol support is a godsend, allowing you to bind to nearly every commercial receiver you can find. The only downside is, perhaps, the handle, which is in a fixed position, although you can probably find an upgrade set to change that. Definitely worth the money for anyone looking to get into RC hobby, as the transmitter is rich in functions and has a low price in comparison with other transmitters.
