I tested this on my diy cnc machine and seems to be working pretty well so far. I had gone through a couple of the cheaper silver 48v 400W spindle motors that are available on BG. The first one the motor shaft snapped and the second one the plastic piece holding the contacts cracked and burned out. This motor seems to have a good deal more torque than the other ones especially at lower rpm. So far I am very satisfied with it. Thanks BG
