Very handy sized meter that easily fits your pocket and doesn't weigh down a pocket or tool belt/bag. very clear, easy to read screen and function selection. NCV function works reasonably well around outlets and switches and very well on exposed wires. The loop is very easy to open with a finger or thumb and the spring is weighted just right to close without snapping closed too hard. Battery life is great considering the back-lit screen and "flashlight" function. I personally like he 9 volt battery instead of the AA or AAA batteries, as the 9 volts don't tend to leak and corrode like the cylindrical batteries do. All in all this is a great tool for both AC and DC current and voltages and will suffice quite well for most every requirement of a DIY homeowner or on the job electrician or maintenance person.
