PS is not bad. Power transistor is JCN4N65FB (4A 650V), HV capacitator is 33mF. Idle voltage is 12.18V, with load 3.1A drops just at 12.12V. With 3.1A load for 10 minutes heats up to no more than 40 degrees C. The only minus is that there is no thermal compound between transistor/diode and radiator, but it is easy to add some.
