Way brighter than I expected. Well, I should have expected it. Good build quality, kept well. Shipped well. Well, They are pretty cool. with the right library, you can pull off some interesting effects. I'm exploring using them as ambient lamps for a nighttime light. Like the neopixel rings, you have to solder your own connections to these. Unlike the rings, instead of a solder pad, you get a through hole pad. Which is nice. One of the boards I purchased has completely stopped working. I'm thinking something happened to the first led or 3 in the link and it just is no more at the moment. I'll try to revive it when i'm feeling like Frankensteins Dr. These cost so little, theres really no excuse not to get a bunch and make your own diy display setups... And they like the neopixel rings leave an afterimage for about 3 minutes if you stare at them... Dont do that.
