The BLF X5 is a very bright flashlight as long as you use the right batteries. In order to reach the advertised 1400 lumens you need to buy high drain batteries, e.g. Efest Purple 14500 or Enerciq/Tensai 14500 with 650mAh. I also found out that it will not run with rechargeable AA batteries (Eneloop). I really like that this flashlight has a lot of different modes you can choose from by following the bistro firmware manual. Quality and appearance are very good except for the screw thread of the tube which has some imperfections in the anodization.
