Bought this to use it behind my PC monitor (27" and bought the 50cm led strip), so I have a bit more lighting in my room. Looks really great! Just put it in my USB port of my PC and it works. Downside is that you can't turn the LED strip on/off with the controller buttons, so you have to pull the usb cable out of the port. The LED strip does remember your latest setting, so when you plug it in it glows the color and uses the same mode as you used before. It really gives a great amount of light. And the controller enables you to control the brightness, color and mode of the LED lights. Mode does something like the amount of blinking or color transistion of the lights. I have it set to just glow a solid color and don't blink. Great product, would recommend!
