We used if for an smps designed for 5v, 3A output supply. The supply was being used to power servos. These inductors are a bit inconsistent when used in a high frequency switching circuit. The servos acted very shaky. We used radial inductors with ferrite core and same ratings as this product and got a much better stable output.
