Por 04/10/2015The size of this tip is perfect for solder jobs on electronic devices, including some of the bigger SMD components. Heats up very fast. If the tip isn't recognized by the solder station, it is a contact problem most of the time (i.e. the tip isn't defective, even if it looks so). Just reinsert the tip and turn it around a few times.
