mesho123@LaszloNagy85 Not sure really, I\'ve seen recent reviews of people receiving the older version of the k989, And others receiving the upgraded one. So you basically have to hope they\'ll ship the newer car with the upgraded parts. or if you don\'t want to deal with any of that, you can just buy the Wltoys 284131 which has all the upgraded parts including a newer transmitter. it\'s a bit more expensive though.
Q: does this work with a 17 tooth pinion

mesho123 Probablynot if the teeth are smaller than the stock pinion gear. You can just compare the size of the17t pinion with the stock 8t pinion.

mesho123 Ithas all in one ESC, motor and servo controllers protocol. and i haven't seen anyone using it with other transmitters.

mesho123 Checkif the motor cable and the male connector are actually connected and touching tightly. at first, it didn't work for me too. but when i tried to tighten the cables together with electrical tape everything worked.
