Short review in no specific order (+ marks positive, - something that needs improvement) + It fits out of the box with german heating valves. + It seems to calibrate well - there needs to be an installation section in the manual that includes fitting the adapter to the heater and more importantly how to calibrate it + There are different types of valve adapters in addition to a screw and an bar spacer included - But there's no description nowhere how to use the valve adapters (not on YouTube, not in the manual, not on the webpage). This can be quite (!!!) confusing at first. + The plastic is of very high quality. + The battery compartment fits good and isn't easy to accidenly open. + It reacts fast to temperature changes. - the temperature reading needs manual adjustment to get it right (by a few degrees). + wireless connectivity seems stable - albeit a bit slow to update the readings sometimes in the app + it has Firmware Updates and there was already one that could be applied. This worked flawless on all 4 of them. I've enabled Auto-Updates as such.

BG552154173 I tought that at first too - you need to start it at do the calibration when its NOT connected so that the valve pressure actually is turned all the way in. Then actually install it on the heater - don't be confused that the distance is greatee then in the picture. Afterwards remove the batteries when its installed and do the calibration again. You can teat if it closes properly by using the Tuya App and setting the Mode to "Force Close" (you might need to wait for some time especially when you install it the heater will drive at maximum so it will take a while to cool down)

Hi! None of the three adapters fit my thermostatic valve perfectly...the most similiar to it does not fix properly and the actuator dosent close properly the valve when it reachs the set temperature. Do you have more adapters? Thanks

BG552154173 The Cloud is the norm for almost ANY plug like this since the usual guy next door doesn't self host or even know what "Intranet" means. This includes brand products from for example Honeywell, Netatmo, Tado, EVE ... You can flash this with Tasmota Open-Source Firmware since its based on ESP8266. This is something you cant do on the big brands.

App requires pointless registration and demands localization data for access of basic functions, no privacy mode ... smart appliances for localized functions should never insist on internet and sharing private data (even if its just for installation), such tools need to work offline/in isloated intranets (and limit internet requirements to special internet features). Cannot recommend a simple Smart Plug which doesnt understand basic privacy.
