This is a good delay timer but it will not delay for more than 10 seconds. Applying 12v to the inputs starts the time cycle one led comes on when you apply power and another comes on when the relay trips after the delay.

The input (trigger) voltage is totally isolated from the relay contacts- some jumper wires from the input to the relay terminals can quickly fix that for an inline power on delay. There's a red power LED which comes on whenever the trigger input voltage is applied. The second green LED comes on after the delay period to indicate when relay is energised. If the trigger voltage is removed during the delay period and then immediately reapplied the full delay period starts again. The maximum delay period on mine is more like 9 seconds than 10. If the pot is wound fully to the shortest delay period there is no discernible delay and the relay is energised immediately when the trigger voltage is applied.
