I got this superb EDC light today. It surprised me because it has a blue lighted tailcap button. The threads are super smooth and the finish is excellent. The MCPCB is copper. But the led centering ring maybe can be flatter a little in the reflector. I can see some white around it when I look straight in it. But I still think this is the best factory S2+ model of all! Nice defined hot spot and a throws like an M1 but geting hot faster.

pros. throw is good for a small flashlight. light emitted is good. tail cap switch lights up dim blue. good cause it doesn't bug me at night. tail cap also fits my magnet so it can stick to thinks. clip does not have any sharp edges. this light is slightly a thrower for a smaller head. im directly comparing this to my blf a6 xpl hi id say its slightly dimmer then the blf. the UI is good easy to use. easy to switch from 3mode and 5mode. it has a hybrid memory mode. if you turn on the flashlight and leave it on for more then 5 seconds and then turn it off, and leave it off for more then 5 seconds. it will start back up in the same mode. if you turn it off for less than 5 seconds and turn it off no matter what it will go to the next mode. which was annoying at first but once you get use to it it will be fine. blf is a great light . which sometime you can set it to 1 or 2 modes. the light gets very very hot in high and doesnt drop down a mode once its hot. good and bad thing. caution it will get HOT. tail cap from blf and convoy are not interchangeable they will screw little and work.

this Silver/Clear edition S2+ is a great light with a nice hot spot that reaches out the pretty well for it's size! the lighted tailcap is definitely a great added bonus to the and aids in search of the light at night on the nightstand when it is needed. The lit tailcap does not draw enough Milla amps to affect the battery at all so no worries of letting it sit with a cell in it thinking it may drain the cell. This is now my EDC light and it is well worth the money spent! Highly Recommend!

I got mine today and I just had to wait till nightfall to test this out. I was not disappointed! A 100m usable illumination is easy for this one. My light did come with no lighting in the tail switch, unlike those claimed by some, but that's a minor issue. I used Google maps' distance measurement on my tests. Targets were the walls at the end of each street: #1 pic - 159.4m, #2 pic - 92.56m, #3 pic - 73.8m and #4 pic - 68.69m I highly recommend this one. Grab yours now!
