Q: does he touch screen work when the cover is on?

Wicko Thiswored fine for me when the screen protector was on. If you get wet or go swimming then you need to remove the protector to clean screen and dry it. But that is easy and works fine.

EBES7 the same happened to my two that I have I believe the only way to fix it is to replace the motors

Wicko not sure if it is waterpoof. I guess if you submerged in weter it would upset the electronics but would have through it would be ok for light water splash.
