What was delivered looks very different from the picture and several cheaper materials/parts were used: 1.) The cutting iron is extremely soft, and apparently not tool-steel. My file takes of material very very easily (see picture)! It should glance off the iron if this was in any way hardened. The cutter will not be able to hold its edge! 2.) The cutter and has rounded edges and the tool will not be able to cut cleanly. 3.) The screw for forwarding the iron is only ~M5, not as thick as the pictures suggest. 4.) There is a round hole the iron sits in instead of one shaped like the cutter. 5.) The screw for securing the iron is not a nice lever but a simple winged screw. 6.) The bolts securing the handle are just plain black hex bolts not steel or chrome as shown in the picture. Not satisfied with this one! I expected, having to do finetuning to get it to work. But without a proper tool-steel cutter this is hopeless.

The planer is ok, but the planer blade had the wrong geometry. The cutting edge was not the deepest part of the planer blade and it took 30 minutes on the disc grinder to change that. Then the cutting edge could be sharpened.

Angle of the main bevel matched the sole of the body, meaning I have to regrind a more acute angle and then resharpen.
