This sliding strainer is fantastic for making tea in a tea pot! It opens with a push of the thumb letting you fill it from a jar of tea leafs and placing it in a tea pot. The pictures show using it to make a cup or glass of tea or ?, but it holds too much for a single cup of tea. I like it so much that I'm going to order four more! This can be used for cleaning parts that are small and for many other uses that I want to have a few on hand just for other uses then making tea! I highly recommend it!
