electron69 Theseoutlets are really universal outlet that we can find on every product made for universal use anywhere in the world. The person having indicated that the use is forbidden is an ignorant because there is no ground possibility for such a product that is totally floating. So this remark is absolutely not correct because for class III products no ground is needed. Of course if you want to supply class I products, theoretically the ground connexion is mandatory but for fixed power supplies only as the ones you will find in buildings but surely not for totally floating power supplies as it's the case for this product. Imagine that this product is the same kind of power supply that the one you will find in your bathroom furniture giving you the ability to connect your shaver, but instead to be limited to 20 to 40 watts you can obtain ability to drive till 1000 watts.
Q: could I connect two of the 5000wat units in parrelel?

electron69 If the two inverters are not made for this purpose, e.g. if no synchronisation exists and clearly advertised by the manufacturer, of course that you can absolutely not do that or you will destroy one or the both of the converters. I cannot understand that donkeys can reply that it's possible without to have first made strong electronic or electric studies. Even in the professional world we never can put in parallel UPS if those are not especially made for. And only 1% of the available professional UPS are with this ability. People that assume clearly that it is not electric engineer should study first before to give such wrong advices. Those loads are not passive resistors, they are active equipment from cheap conception and not able to do the same than professional equipment.
