Not an impact drill. Torque settings only apply to drilling motion no hammer effect. Motor is old brush type design which sparks on operation and has now been superseded by brushless type which are better. Otherwise looks to be very well made.

A solid feel not too sure about the on off switch operation. Maybe the design should go back to the push button type. Time will tell. However the heads are good and the razor has a good feel about it compared to my other brands. I like the charge indicator percentage charge feature. Maybe the RPM could be a bit more higher expected from the lithium battery to give a bit more grunt. Overall though a very good item for the price and gives a good shave.
