Q: can I use it in a homemade lathe, to speed control? it's a 1 hp triphasic motor.

pwijman Itis possible, motorwiring schould be placed in triangle,remove the capacitor.

pwijman Itis possible. you need to make changes in your motor. wiring in triangle, remove the capacitor.

Q: Are these drill all sharpened with a split point (even those below 2 mm)? How are they sharpened in the factory: by machine OR by freehand manual sharpening?

pwijman Thereis no need to reduce rhe point under 2mm. freehand scharping is possible but you have to be verry skild.
