Really impressive sound. My previous laptop-sound favourite was the Rode Ai1, but this may be even better - if not its a close run thing and the DAC-K3 offers optical and coaxial sp-dif which the orde does not. Drives 250 Ohm headphones with ease. Loads of drive and gain - be careful, you could easily damage your hearing with this - it can go very loud.

Got audio working very easily on the May 2020 version of Raspberry Pi OS (the operating system formerly known as raspbian) All the changes are in /boot/config.txt 1) Enable i2c dtparam=i2c_arm=on 2) Enable the hifiberry-digi overlay # Enable audio (loads snd_bcm2835) #dtparam=audio=on #commented out in favour of the digi card dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi Getting the IR receiver working will require knowing which GPIO pin it connects to. After that it is relatively straighforward. I used a Tos-Link cable (optical) to connect to an external dac, in my case the KGUSS Dac-3 (both cable and dac available on Banggood). The resulting sound quality from uncompressed material - wav and flac - was astounding. The stereo image is remarkable. Previously unheard details are revealed. Well worth the money! The only downside is that with this "hat" fitted, cooling the pi gets a lot harder. It would be much better if boards like this went underneath the pi rather than above it. "shoe"

As the cone shape drills its way into the wood, the torque required keeps rising. If you are lucky the wood splits. My experience is that my drill stops turning, leaving the cone well and truly stuck. Switching to reverse does not extract the cone, it simply unscrews the SDS back end which is a separate part. The thing is well made, for what it is. But splitting wood is much easier with a wedge and a sledge-hammer.

Well built, nice to use but slash key / only available with Fn pressed. Linux users beware, various key mappings can be enabled or disabled by pressing the Fn and Ctrl simultaneously but not the arrow keys. They are always enabled. Search the internet for "rk61 arrow keys" This means that / is only available by pressing Fn / For linux CLI this is a non starter as the slash key is more or less every third or fourth key-press Better look at the rk71 or similar; until someone hacks the firmware... Otherwise very nice to use. Great feel, but blue switches clatter like your grand-mothers typewriter. Not the thing for a web-meeting or shared office. Pleasantly small - reminds me of the "happy hackers keyboard" Bluetooth and wired options a big plus. 17 lighting modes - most completely unnecessary but vaguely amusing.

This extremely small amplifier really works well! I bought a 5A 24V supply and connected it to the amp. I put 4mm plugs on the speaker leads and connected the RCA input. The sound is very good, no hum, no crackles on the volume knob, no thumps on switch on or off. The case hardly gets warm. The only slight complaint is the little red power LED isn't quite lined up with the hole in the case, but this doesn't matter to me. Highly recommended.

i just received these and put them in my intelligent charger for a capacity check. It charged them, then discharged them then recharged them individually at 0.5 amps charge and discharge current. The measured capacities of the cells are 2847, 2852, 2857 and 2870 milliamp-hours. That sort of consistency shows the manufacturer knows what they are doing!

Excellent torch. I've bought three so far. - small. This torch is designed for an 18650 or 18350 cell. It is slimmer than the many torches that accommodate 3 AAA alkalines or on 18650 Li-ion. - when switched on it is always dim and gets brighter if you want. This is far more use than a torch which every time it is switched on is a different brightness - no flashing. NO FLASHING! At last a torch that does not flash. I think there is a a way to make it flash if you really nee that but i don't. Ever. - well made. Nice seals, good quality contacts for the battery. - reliable. So far anyway. - bright! The brightest mode is REALLY bright - especially on the A1 Don't hesitate. You can easily get a torch a bit like this for a third the price, but this is well worth the price.

Big enough to hold a protected 18650, an unprotected 18650 or an 18500. A great way to avoid your pocket catching fire if you are carrying spare batteries around.

AA size. 3.7V nominal. Capacity around 400mAH, not 2300 as marked. Bought 8 (two sets of 4) and have run them through two charge discharge cycles, at 500mA and 1A. Both tests gave capacities in the range 350 to 420mAH across the eight cells. For the price this is a reasonable capacity.
