The construction is solid, and the PCB design is sane. It's very similar to the wavebubble design, with two boards sandwiched with a header. Amplifier stages are OK. Unfortunately my unit had port 2 die rather soon. The antennas might come loose due to vibration. Because there is no open output protection the affected ports might die. Heat is also an issue, there isn't really enough ventilation for long term use. Still an OK and convenient purchase. Do not use these in open areas and especially without a license to transmit in the affected frequencies. Tested with a siglent spectrum analyzer :)

Umbratherios Dave on the eevblog made two videos on this power supply. on the first one he messed up, but on his secondary video he corrected his mistakes. it has about a 100mv peak to peak voltage, according to the comment he left on his first video.

larrs I have some LEDs that are dim in mine... perhaps this is the culprit? They flash but extremely faint.

Received my kit today and assembled it. Turned on tree and only the top light lit. After troubleshooting I found that the transistors they sent were 9012's which are PNP transistors, the kit requires 9014 transistors which are NPN. The schematic with the instructions has the 9014's as PNP's. The diagram is correct for NPN's. Fortunately I had NPN's in the parts drawer and after replacing them the Tree lit up beautifully. This is the first time I have had incorrect parts in a kit. It is made more difficult when the schematic has the incorrect parts listed. Anyway it was "fun" trying to figure out what was wrong.
