Perfect for charging tablets from a USB port where usually the port can't supply the required amperage to maintain charging. If your tablet onlt maintains it's charging percentage instead of it increasing then you need one of these, I tested it thoroughly with heavy use (playing games) and the tablet charged from a port/cable which previously would only stop it from draining the battery. Excellent value for money and great service from Banggood again, product comes in retail packaging too.

Checked the item using a Huawei charger on a Nexus 4 and Galaxy S5. Charge went from 425mA to 800mA on the S5 and from 450mA to 600mA on the N4. Checked also with a Galaxy S1+ and charge stayed the same. Conclusion is that it works but heavility depends on the smart phone you are using.

I have a pass-through device that tells me the current usage and the voltage, and neither changes when I insert the 3X Speed USB Charger USB Charging Accelerator For Mobile phone Tablet either before or after the current/voltage reader. I tried it with all sorts of items (e-cigs, MP4 players, bluetooth speakers, and with various cables and connectors, as well as different power supplies. Maybe it will work for other people with more modern equipment. My S2 always said "Charging USB Connected" and never said "Charging - AC" and the rate was ≤ 300 ma. It surely did not get to 1000 ma as the listing suggested it might. Hope you have better luck than I did with it.

tested with different samsung galaxy phone/tab and with nexux tab. just didn't work at all. at best it's the same current, often worse. I use charger capable of delivering 3A, the phone only use 0.3-0.4A with the accelerator. the only scenario where it's works better is on the computer, I was able to charge at 0.45A instead of 0.35. useless...

I tried the item with 3 different smartphones, 2 chinees brand and 1 original samsung galaxy S3, I measured the current and at the 2 chinees phones there was no different and the samsung it was even slower charging (less ampers current). finally 5$ went to the garbage

This device is useless. It is not helping any electronic device to charge with more Amps. I tried all the electronic devices (using 5V) that I had, including Mobile Phones, MP3 players, MP4 players...!
