The quality of this plane is well beyond what was expected, it has a huge amount of potential for short, medium and long range FPV setups, with a low CD good payload capability and an efficient wing profile it can easily achieve amazing flight times especially with liion batteries, I am getting 1 hour with 3s 2.5ah Samsung INR18650-25R SDI 5, and hope to try 3s2p (5ah) as soon as I can make one up. The fuselage comes in two parts with a square cf spar running internally down to the tail. My only problem here was the servo mounts, they only accept shallow (16mm flange to bottom) servo's and they need to be very light, as they are at the tail and even 12g makes getting cg forward very difficult as they are so far back. I am using 5g eachine micro skyhunter servos, packed out to fit the holes, as they work well and are only 5g(for tail only) You also get a bubble level, servo looms, a 7x5 prop, motor mount, and plastic clips, spars and glue, also 2 nose canopies, camera mount type or aero canopy, two wooden trays, one with battery straps, the two types of gear, an internal single wheel or wire sprung dual wheels and a tiny tail wheel. I left tail wheel off as I only grass land. I am using a 2212, but even a 2205 would suit ok. It comes well packed with a foam lined box, mine arrived totally un damaged. All up, a great value plane with a tonne of potential, likely to become a favourite of many. It's easy to dis assemble for transport or storage, and it flies well with slight nose heavy cg.

Great value for money, can have both an FPV and external camera, build quality is really good, control surfaces have plastic hinges (usually it is just foam hinges that breaks), there is a CG mark on the wings and so on. I fly it with an NTM 28-26 1350 kV and 4S 1400mAh battery and it is very powerful, can fly vertical right after take off and can stay in the air for 20-30 min at min throttle. Lots of fun and easy trainer as long as you make sure the CG is forward of the mark otherwise it is very unstable (the factory mark is neutral so don't count on some margin as I did). Drawbacks: main one is the manual does not cover fuselage assembly and it's quite hard to figure it out before gluing, and you'd better get it right. The 2 extra gear is useless and does not like hard landings, tail wheel sucks, canopy should open the other way. Also it's hard not to get CG aft, even with batty fully forward. Buy the PNP version if you're new to RC flying, the price difference is small anyway and fuselage assembly is tricky with no instructions. Great trainer, great value for money, too bad user manual sucks.

В модель самолёта Ranger G2, производителем, внесены некоторые изменения ( по сравнению с заказанной ранее моделью Ranger G2), а именно: 1) усиленная углепластиковая трубка - была 7 мм в диаметре стала 8 мм; 2) изменены качалки элеронов, теперь они вклеиваются (и защёлкиваются); 3) разъем аккумулятора был T plug стал XT-60. К моему сожалению служба доставки основательно измяла коробку, если бы не заводская пенопластовая упаковка от самолёта осталась бы труха. Пострадал только фюзеляж модели, деформация сжатием в районе крепления крыльев. Попробую устранить нагревом.

bien reçu mes colis ranger g2 pnp et ranger g2 kit, emballage en bon etat,par contre aucun film plastique pour dissimuler le colis donc tout le monde pouvait voir ce que contenait le colis,un film plastique noir n'aurait pas fait de mal,voir la photo 1,voila comment j'ai reçu mes 2 ranger,scotché ensemble sans film plastique.

Arrived in great condition, Volantex produce their models in a sturdy polystyrene box. haven't flow it yet, but it looks like I've got a newer revision of the Ranger G2 that addresses the thrust angle issue that some people struggled with (see pic). overall, really happy!!

Delivery ok but parts missing. 2 screws missing for tail assemble and the glue tubes was run out in the box. Probably from the heat. in rest intact and ok
