I was riding the TG-T3 (which is a nice product aside from dangerous faults with the battery management system) using football shin pads, which were a little on the thick side. I figured these could not have been worse than pads that make have to balance on the edges of the pedals, but how wrong I was. Let's set aside for a moment that they are stuffed with the exact same bubble-wrap like stuff that the package comes lined with. Let's forget that the zips broke when I checked this due to the suspiciously bubble-wrappy nature of the padding. What really stands out is that the straps have NO ELASTIC. The straps are made of an entirely inelastic woven nylon. I assume the man in the photograph has had these pads stapled to his legs. This is not so much a matter of ZERO QUALITY, but these pads were clearly designed by someone with no concept of either human anatomy or gravity. DO NOT BUY THESE.
