This board is a cheaper alternative to the Matek F405-WING flight controller. It does have one limitation - no SDA/SCL pads that would be required to connect an exteral magnetometer. It does have an onboard magnetometer but those are often unreliable given the proximity to components that generate EM fields as well as hatch magnets on the model. It only has three full UART RX/TX pads available. The other three UARTs are either TX-only or RX-only. I used this board in a flying wing where I needed three full UARTs for the TBS Crossfire RX, a DJI FPV system and a GPS module. It's too bad I wasn't able to connect the magnetometer on the GPS module because the SDL/SCL inputs were not broken out on the board.

I have a full featured heat gun that has temperature control, different nozzles, etc. But it is large, heavy and unwieldy. Sometimes, you just want a simple heat gun for that ONE wire join you want quickly heat shrink. This is perfect and takes up little space on the workbench and is always available.

I bought this on the recommendation of other users for use when flying RC gliders. Works well. The only con I can think of is that it does not retain the speed unit setting and resets to metres per second every time the power is turned on.

This is a very popular flying wing model and there is a large following on RC Groups. Pros: Large bay for battery and electronics giving lots of options for equipment layout to achieve CG. Lots of options for mounting an action cam in the nose bay. Cons: Motor gives mediocre thrust on 3S. Less mediocre on 4S. Flimsy wingtip fins that won't survive repeated hard landings.

Pin Vise: This works fine with the various shank size of the bits provided. Clamp: Screw does not have enough travel to completely close the jaws. There is ~3mm gap.

I bought this because it was one of the GPS+Compass units compatible with iNav. Pro: After the initial position location, subsequent position lock occurs within seconds. Con: Stiff (non-silicon) wiring harness.

I use this to attach a TBS Crossfire Micro TX on my XLite. Pro: Works fine once the module is installed. Con: If you have to take the adapter off frequently (e.g. to change to a different module that cannot use this adapter), it is a pain.

dingrbg Between the pivot points, the two arms are about 25cm in length each. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but this is not a long, articulating setup.

Not the best centering bi-directionally. But works fine in a pull string arrangement in DLGs for rudder and elevator.
