Very happy so far. Easy to setup, and the app "I-Cam +" that load on your phone to access the camera, is very responsive and quick. Video quality is good. I used a previous solar wifi cam that used "Tosee" app which was good but then they changed the app to "Mycam" which is buggy and sluggish. This is why I decided to try the ESCAM camera and I'm glad I did

krileayn Areyou sure? USually you connect via your smartphone wifi initially to set it up but then it does connect to the wifi router directly.

This camera is not an internet or wifi router enabled camera. It will not connect to your router to be able to be seen via your network or from the internet. It uses the wifi on your smartphone, pc, etc to access via the app only. This was my mistake and now have a camera that cannot be used on a network. Banggood please update the description to make this fact very clear.........

Very happy with the purchase. The range is fantastic. I placed the solar alarm detector directed at a gate motor that has been stolen several times. The receiver is about 200m away in the room. Initial testing looks good. Will give an update when I have used it for a while. If it continues working, I will definitely buy more of these.

krileayn Plugged my receiver into an inverter as we had a power failure and it blew. Just a warning to others don't plug into an inverter.Although there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

This is the third time I have bought this product. Still works great. Only disappointment is that this time they did not include a power adapter.

Bought 2 of these items, and am very happy for the price. It does the job. Only issue is I cannot set the date time. Will try to get more answers on that.
