LED indicator is a big stupidity! I wonder who was the genius, who put this completely unutile color lights. Just to have it... The power of this amplifier is not more than 2x15W with more than 5% distortions... The radio is working well, also MP3 player via USB port.

Like a few other people who commented, I'll say lhe led display is useless and irritating. Therefore I opened the little device and took out the led display and it's circuit. Easy enoug! Don't need to be an engineer for that.. (see photos) Apart from that, aspect, what an excellent little 12V remote controled amplifier! Even if it doesn't produce exactly thoses 2X20W mentionned in the data, it's more than enough for a 5 X 5 m room, especially on a pair of good loudspeakers. Slowly converting my house to 12VDC, this provides the audio element of it. Michel.

Got this today, quickly hooked it up to a pair of small Polk speakers, plugged a memory stick into the USB port, and WHOA! Not only is this little guy loud, but the tone controls actually work. I'm not wild about the built-in light show, but as long as I don't stare at it I won't accidentally get hypnotized into buying more stuff from this site. For $20 with shipping, this is a really nice piece. I also wanted to mention that the only 12V DC transformer I had on hand is rated at 800Ma. while the recommended amperage is 3 amps. It works just fine with mine.
