I have bought these several times because they are one of the most useful components! My most recent project uses multiple mini-cameras, and this multiplexer can route 8 different camera signals into one monitor, one at a time. The cameras are "drone cameras" and the monitor is just a car rear-view/backup monitor. The point is, this can handle complex signals!
I haven't had any of these fail by factory defect yet.
