Mechanically strong, with nice switches with a nice feedback. Electrically working very well (when new) with precise resistance values (smd resistors). Two problems: 1) the two banana sockets are useless, I replaced them. 2) the rotary switches to make good contact press with force on the printed circuit copper traces, I expect the unit to start exhibiting random resistance behaviour after some use. I modified mine by cleaning the copper traces (they were covered in grease) and I tinned them. Now I expect the unit to work for some years with light use, then I'll just have to refresh the tinning when the grooves grows too much. For the price I would buy it again, works well, just needs this little mod to work longer. See the images with the copper already lightly damaged after 3 or 4 uses and the modded version.

NotHappyWithBanggood@Elio Right, in theory. In practice I\'ve actually measured the resistance with a multimeter and was exactly like when the product was new, and a lot better compared to how the product performed after one week of use.

Q: How much current/power does it tolerate? Has to be mentioned in any resistor's specs.

lmgava To my understanding the manual in Chinese talks about 0.5W nominal and 1W not sustained, but the resistors inside are 0.25 W SMD type 3216.I wouldn't go above 0.25 W.

lmgava Accepted ? You can't know I much charge they have taken, only how much flown through them during the charging. For what you know half of the "charge" turned into heat. The only way to test the capacity is to discharge them.

Batteries appear to be genuine Samsung cells. Received partially charged. Before use, I put them on my new MiBoxer smart charger (also from Banggood) and all 4 accepted between 2,450 and 2,600 mah of charge. I'm using them in LED over-the-head flashlights which are amazingly bright. Batteries arrived 2 weeks earlier than estimated at time of order. Highly recommended.
