Arrived in Australia from the Chinese warehouse, in 14 days, in typical Banggood packaging, at storage voltage. It is about 4mm thicker than 18650's in the Radiomaster battery holder, right where the leads exit the pack. This causes the battery bay lid to bulge. I will give it some time to see if the foam on the back of the lid will compress to suit. If not, I will have to modify to prevent damage. I think the price compares well to buying 18650's separately (AUD25). I look forward to seeing how well it performs.

The quad presents well with the canopy in a glossy finish. The eye decals come as stickers you apply yourself. You will need AAA batteries for the transmitter and a usb port to charge the lipo battery and you are away. I bought the quad by itself as I had my own goggles and these can tune in to the video feed no problems. There is a small hole in the canopy near the antenna which allows access to a button to change the video channel. You will need to do this if you are flying with a friend and happen to find yourself on the same video channel. One tip, sit down first before flying fpv for the first time so you don't fall over, and don't walk while flying with the goggles on. This is heaps of fun around the house and heaps of fun to chase the dog around (or be chased). By spare batteries! You won't regret it. The E013 will easily handle the weight of 260mah batteries for longer flight time. The plastic can be cut away from the end of the battery bay to allow for the extra battery length. Jusy make sure you get the same plug type. Just search Banggood for "E013 lipo".

Q: How do you check 1s (single cell) tiny whoop batteries? I have tried connecting a separate battery with xt60 connector and 5v minimum to the input and a 1s battery to the first two balance input pins but I cannot get the checker to display a voltage.

Ram l Have you made sure the negative wire is connected to the negative pin? and are you certain that the battery has charge?

Comes in a very nice sturdy, hinged storage foam block/holder, with a quick start guide and a sheet of stickers. Also, some spare gimbal springs and anodised surrounds. The user manual is available online in pdf. I am excited to set this up, as I am moving over from Spektrum. Multi-protocol is a fantastic concept. I have personalised mine with some of the provided stickers and some heat shrink on the antenna. Arrived in 9 days in Australia from China warehouse via AU Direct Mail.

Snollygoster I bought and they both just tested ok. From memory I replaced a mosfet that screwed to the heatsink with some thermal transfer paste in between. I emailed Isdt for the model number at the time. You should try as I don't remember it, or perhaps the issue has been rectified.

turbonneo if you open up the t16 or t18 you will see ground and 3.3v pads and those will work just fine.

This item is very cheap and will stop you from losing your tiny micro sd cards, however it is difficult to positively secure cards in their individual position and they tend to dislodge. My tip would be to identify, or number, each card so you know which one is which if they end up floating around inside the organiser.

The sd cards and holder are great value but number your cards before putting them in the holder as they dislodge easily.

These are great for organisation and protection. From what I know, these should be very safe for storing batteries when they are at storage voltage. I will use additional safety precautions when charging and when charged such as fire extinguisher, bag of sand, charge on non flammable surfaces etc. I bought one for each of my lipo types, 3s, 4s and 6s. Very happy with the quality, especially at the price.

The mat is made of silicone which remains untouched by soldering iron heat. You can solder directly on the mat without issue. The parts storage area simply has a self adhesive magnetic strip stuck to the back which is little to no assistance in retaining metallic items like screws etc. For this you could perhaps glue some thin rare earth magnets to the back instead. I quite like the bag it came in and use it to store my cutting mats as well.

This soldering iron holder clamp appears to be mainly well made and should last well. The design is unusual in that the alligator clip has a threaded shaft that fits into the end of the arm which is then secured with a grub screw. This means the grub screw has little surface area to grip to due to the thread. Mine came loose quite easily. The grub screw is a good idea as it allows adjustment to rotate the alligator clip in any position. You will want to key a hex key handy for this while in use though. I may file the thread off to allow for a more robust fixing. The heatshrink on the alligator clip will need a trim on mine too as it prevents the shaft from going all the way into the arm. This means the grub screw is only gripping on the very end of the shaft. An easy fix but worth mentioning. Despite these two things, I would still recommend it.
