By default, 5 brightness levels from low to high plus 3 blinkies: strobe and biking / stutter beam and battery check / beacon. Click to turn on, short tap to advance through modes, long tap to return to first mode, and click to turn off. Starts in lowest mode unless you enter config mode to 1) select a different mode group or 2) turn on mode memory. Remembers every mode
